Usaha Camp 2009

Just a week before the holiday started, they, the juniors and seniors had their usaha & solo camp,being the kepoh retired form 5, we dropped by as kepoh-ian for 3 days, but instead of 3 days, we stayed for only 1 night, ah, i guess usaha camp is meant for end of the year, no? mhm hopefully another grown-up camp on november for you juniors :)
from 5pm to 6, then 6 to 7, finally yoke and i started our journey as P license drivers to templers, took us 2 hours because of the traffic jam, tsk.

so, we had our SOLO camp :D

like what the others always say, that it would be the most memorable/fun camp? and yeah its true :) all the bamboo/parang cuts, ter-cutting off my nail, blisters, ANTS and etc etc, at least it was worth it :) and balancing in the bus with a huge bag wasn't easy at all, haha
or maybe holding on 2 pails while you're asleep in the bus :p
with hundered pairs of eyes staring at you? horrible, terrible, VEGGIETABLE!
oh well..at least it was funny xp

and so everyone started building their tent :)

somehow, you just feel so so proud of yourself, right pauline? :D

not forgetting the most memorable night, SOLO camper's MK, singing dancing and joking around, it was hillarious and entertaining :P

and i must thank all the scouters for everything :)

instead of EMPACT, we attended first aid course by the st. john ambulance, organized by our lim peck hwa, you did a great job girl! and congrats for completing your job/promise :)

there were aunties dancing in the hall early in the morning..horng qing claims that she's one of the best amount all with the hourglass body, according to peck hwa, haha :b

DAY 5

it was the last day spending time with them in tawau, woke up early in the morning, packed everything and headed to school with wen jye

thanks for taking care of me during those 5 days

Sir Vincent brought us around tawau and we did our last shopping for souvenirs :)
oh ya just so you know, there's no big shopping malls in tawau, there's only one KFC, one pizza hut, no mcD's after troop meeting, no baskin robbins, so every 31st doesnt mean anything except for 31st of august, no starbucks, no coffee bean, and they dont shop so often like people in kl, now you know why tawau people are so rich..lol

but kl people dont see sea so often..lol

DAY 4

on the last day of camp, they had an exhibition for the 30th anniversary celebration, we cooked, built a campsite & a model campsite, halangan komando, and etc etc

in the morning, i went to the market with few of the scouts, everything there seems like its more expensive then the market in pj, but they sell really fresh seafood :)

after market, went back and started cooking in their big bilik masakan, they have plenty of stoves there, so basically if you take tukung masak there in a patrol with 6 people, you can finish it in 30 minutes instead of taking 2 hours just to wait for one small stove :p

don't ask why am i always the one cutting the chicken :/
